Google Documents to PDF conversions (and a potential problem)

Google Documents to Microsoft Word conversion: How to create a .docx file

In just two minutes, learn how to export a Google Documents file to .docx for viewing and editing in Microsoft Word. This is covered in chapter 2 of my book about how to use Google Drive and Google Docs, but the video below takes less than four minutes to watch:



Note that Google Drive cannot convert Google Docs to the older .doc format, but all versions of Microsoft Word released in the last five years use .docx files. If you are using an older version of Word, download the updates on this Microsoft page, or export the file as .rtf or text, which can be used in all versions of Word.
